INDEPENDENT AUTO TRANSPORTER ASSOCIATION
The association, also known as IATA, is a Georgia corporation founded in 1999 by Travis Barlow in an effort to form a group to represent and promote the interests of the small owners of Auto Transport businesses. While not limited to a particular business size, IATA is generally aimed at businesses with ten or fewer trucks. The goal is to arrange group buying power and obtain discount for items like tires, parts, insurance, drug/alcohol testing services, etc. as well as provide education, support and advocacy for small auto transporter owners.
